Endemic/Epidemic/Pandemic 流行性疾病

COVID-19)還沒有到Pandemic的程度，若是貿然幫病毒升級，只會造成民眾的恐慌。

Isolation/Quarantine 隔離

這兩個單字的中文都翻譯作隔離，但其中差異卻很大，Isolation指的是將「已確診」的病患與他人隔離開來，而Quarantine則是指將未確診與可能感染的人分離，以確保不會有更多人被傳染。

Confirmed cases 確診案例

很直觀的判斷，confirmed意思為被確認的，case是指案例，合在一起就是確診案例。

transmission / spread 傳播、蔓延

這兩者意義相近，但transmission只能當名詞使用，動詞型態為transmit，而spread則是名詞動詞都通用。
