世界杯正打的熱火朝天，才發現周圍的親朋好友原來是世界杯的球迷粉絲，大家雖然都是粉絲但狂熱程度又不太一樣。我們都知道粉絲的英文是fan, 但其實不同程度的粉絲還有對應不一樣的英文用詞。

big fan/ huge fan/ stan

在fan前面加了big/ huge指那些十分熱衷的超級粉絲。

e.g. He is a huge fan of Messi.

Loyal fan/ hard-core fan/ die-heart fan

loyal是「忠誠」的意思，而hard-core和die-heart意思為「死忠的」，因此這類粉絲就是所謂的鐵粉，死忠粉，程度比超級粉絲更深一點。

e.g. Mike cried his heart out because Ronaldo lost the game yesterday and Mike is his loyal fan.

因為C羅輸了比賽而痛哭，因為Mike是他的死忠粉。

Day one fans

若是直譯的話容易誤解為「一日粉絲」，但其實這是指「從第一天開始就在的」老粉絲。

e.g. Ken is the day one fan of Neymar and he knows anything about Neymar.

是內馬爾的老粉絲了，有關他的所有事情Ken都知道。

Fair weather fan

源自Fair weather friend「酒肉朋友」，就是「天氣好才會陪你的朋友」，應用在粉絲群體上，就是指只有球隊贏球才會支持的一日球迷。

e.g. He must know nothing about Argentina football team since he is just a fair weather team.

Bandwagon fan

bandwagon是指「花車遊行」，也指「風靡的活動和時尚」，因此bandwagon fan就是指球隊贏球才支持的跟風球迷。

e.g. Since the world cup is popular, there are lots of bandwagon fans coming out.
